Law Offices of Dana Anderson, Esq., LMFT

I’m here to help you move forward.

In 1991, I graduated from the University of Southern California Law School and was admitted to the California Bar. During my time as a student, I was a member of the prestigious Southern California Law Review, and was an assistant editor for the Major Tax Planning Journal, and the Computer Law Journal.

I graduated with Order of the Coif and a member of Phi Kappa Phi, distinctions reserved for attorneys at the top of their class. After earning my law degree, I jumped right into my legal career, practicing in the areas of business law, real estate law, and landlord/tenant law.

I’ve worked with firms with as few as three attorneys to as large as over 600 attorneys. No matter the size of the firm or the area of practice, there is one thing the clients had in common: they needed help finding a solution for their case and restoring their sense of security.

For me, delivering a win wasn’t enough. I genuinely care about people, and the well-being of my clients has always remained on my mind. With that being said, I set out to become a licensed therapist.

With this qualification, not only do I have the skills for my clients’ legal concerns, but I also have the tools to help them move forward in stride. Again, I cannot have a counseling relationship with current legal clients or an attorney relationship with counseling clients, but having both perspectives is valuable.

In 2005, I moved to Florida and was admitted to the Florida Bar just two years later. I also received my Master’s in Counseling with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Barry University. In addition, I am trained in Parenting Coordination, Civil Circuit Mediation, Civil Arbitration, and Collaborative Divorce. Being both a counselor and an attorney set me apart and proved to work in my clients’ favor.

Today, I’m able to serve a broad spectrum of clients as I use my experience to help others develop a healthy relationship with themselves and with others. My interactive, therapeutic approach to counseling provides my clients with the support and practical guidelines necessary to sift through life’s challenges.

I integrate top-tier methodologies and techniques that offer a highly personalized approach specifically tailored to meet each client’s unique and individual needs. With compassion and understanding, I work with individuals and couples to help them build on their strengths and attain happier and more fulfilling lives.
